Goes amazingly with pasta dishes!
I was just in the mood to make bread but then found a small amount of cheese and well this recipe was created
Equipment;
Pan
Spatula
Hob
Loaf tin
Big Bowl
Measuring Scales
Measuring spoon
Whisk
Oven
Ingredients;
250g Plain flour
80 - 100g Cheese - Hard cheese is best
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tsp Salt
2 Tsp Baking Powder
2 Tbsp Butter
4 Garlic cloves
2 Tbsp Mixed herbs
200 ml Beer - freshly opened is best
Preheat the oven to 180 C and then grease and lightly flour your loaf tin.
Crush the garlic cloves and cook them in the butter oven a medium heat along with the herbs; once browned turn the heat off and set aside.
Now mix together the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder until well combined. Add in the garlic mixture and pour in the beer.
Mix until smooth, then gently pour into your prepared tin.
Place in the oven for around 25 - 35 minutes. I would use a tooth pick or skewer to check after 25 minutes. If it comes out clean it is done.
Remove from the oven and let to cool in the tin.
Serve alongside pasta dish or as a side with olives.
Enjoy!
