So refreshing!
I really fancied something that did not make me feel sluggish after eating it for dessert.
Equipment;
Pan
Spatula
Hob
Freeze safe container
Spoon
Weight scales
Measuring Jug
Blender
Ingredients;
200 ml Oat Milk
6 - 8 Fresh Cherries - pitted
50g Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
3 tsp Berry Puree
Decoration Options
Rose petals
Sliced cherries
Pit the cherries and add them to the oat milk. Blitz together until smooth. You may strain the mixture if you do not want any bits in the final product.
Pour the cherry milk mixture into the pan and place on a medium hat.
Add in the vanilla and sugar and stir until all the sugar has dissolved.
Pour into your freezer safe container.
Dribble the berry puree into the mixture or wait until the cherry mixture has frozen a little to create a swirl decoration. If you need to know how to create the puree i have a recipe here.
Stir every 2 - 4 hours until ice crystals form then decorate and leave until completely frozen.
Once completely frozen enjoy on it's own or use as a base for slush drinks.
