Perfect for decorating dishes
Super simple and these are great little additions to dishes
Overall this recipe took around 20 minutes
Equipment;
Small pan
Peeler
Knife
Chopping board
Sieve
Kitchen Paper
Small tub with Lid
Ingredients;
This will make between 10- 15 candies
1 Lemon
300ml Water - you'll need this 3 times as the water must be refreshed
40g Caster sugar
To start wash your lemon and then peel the skin from the lemon.
Using your knife and chopping board, slice the peel to your desired thickness and place in the pan.
Fill with cold water and bring the boil.
Once boiled drain the water and refill. Repeat with the bringing to the boil and draining once more. This should be done a total of 3 times.
Drain for the final time and place into some kitchen paper to dry off.
Then into a small tub with a lid alongside the caster sugar and shake.
That's it! Perfect candied lemon.
