Rose Water

Perfect for cocktails, cakes, teas and much more!

Equipment;

Small pan

Sieve


Ingredients;

This made a jar full!

A handful of Edible grade Rose petals

300ml water

 

A note before we start. DO NOT USE SHOP BOUGHT ROSES!


Simply place the rose petals into the pan and fill with water. Bring them to a simmer not a boil.


Once the petal stat to lose their colour it should not be too much longer for the water to be ready.


After a few minutes simply taste the water carefully to see if it is add the desired strength.


Be careful not to simmer too long as the water will start tot dilute itself.


Remove the petals and pour the water into a contain be that a jar or bottle.


Save you petals by drying them out and use for decoration or place into your garden.
